GPS issue resolved in Beyond411
GPS was 100% broken in Beyond411 for a while due to a change in the geonames.org API; I’ve updated the code and things are now working as before. (Unfortunately, I don’t have a Blackberry with GPS any more so I don’t notice things like this right away.) Thanks to a user for providing a very precise description of the issue that made it easy to resolve.

my gps isn’t working for 411 on my storm… i am new to this software, so i was wondering how to update the software? is there new versions for the updates?

The GPS isn’t working on version 4.3 also on my 9530 Storm. All in all, Great application! Thanks.

The GPS function still usually doesn’t work for me. It gives me the GPS not available message, even though the app sees the GPS and Google maps works. I’m running Beyond411 v4.20.5 on a BB curve 8310 with GPS.

I have the same issues as Keith. My GPS works just fine for Google Maps and other applications, but on Beyond 411 it tells me that GPS is unavailable. I use a Blackberry Tour 9630.
