DNS issues on Berry411.com (courtesy of Yahoo)
Update: We’re back up and running again. Yahoo says that the actual expiration date was December 5th even though their site says otherwise.
berry411.com is currently inaccessible due to DNS issues with Yahoo’s domain hosting. This affects all users of Beyond411/Berry411.
Although I am prepaid through January 2009, they apparently decided to suspend DNS service because my credit card expires before the auto-renewal date. At the same time they are increasing the annual rate from $9.95 to $34.95. (Seems like an attempt to fool people into auto-renewing at the $34.95 rate!)
I have updated the payment information and I trust they’ll get things fixed, though they seem to be taking their time to restore service.

I left yahoo because of their pricing policy. When I registered domains were $3/year! The price increase to $35 was a shock. Yahoo to their credit was good about helping me to transfer away. $12/year is the highest I am paying now.
