Limiting Amazon searches to items sold directly by Amazon
Ken Woodruff shares this helpful Amazon trick:
I’m an Amazon Prime member, which is sweet [because of the free shipping]if what you’re looking at is sold by Amazon, but since they let everybody and their brother into the place to sell now, that is often not the case if you just search at random.
Turns out there’s an easy filter–just add the ”soldbyamazon” keyword to any search to limit it to Amazon-sold (and thus Prime-eligible items).

This doesn’t seem to work for me. I tried searching for “macbook power” and got a few results, including at least one item sold by Amazon. Then I tried “macbook power soldbyamazon” but got no results. Same for “tommy hilfiger soldbyamazon”. Is there some trick to using this?

This is not working for me either, shame too… I could find this useful.

Thanks! That’s just the filter I needed. I did a prelimanary search for the item I wanted, then did a secondary search for “soldbyamazon” and got what I needed.
