My company (Jobster) is hiring for a number of positions in development, program management, and product marketing. I’d like to enlist your help in finding great people for these positions.
Jobster is an emerging internet services company with strong traction in the Fortune 1000 and solid funding. Web developers help us solve challenging user experience problems to build and manage the Jobster network. Responsible for building and maintaining the presentation layer. Requires 2+ years of web development/programming, with extensive experience in HTML, CSS, JSP and JavaScript. Some knowledge of Java is also helpful.
A core developer at Jobster creates innovative technology for building, tracking, and mining complex enterprise talent networks. We’re looking for developers with technical brilliance, team fit, and a passion for the product– some of our best product ideas come from developers. 5+ experience building successful applications is required. Experience with enterprise web services, J2EE, the Spring framework, and relational databases is a plus. Title and salary dependent on experience.
Lead Program Managers love creating great products, and understand how to balance business requirements and development constraints to produce a service that delights customers. They know how to be creative and rigorous, driving innovation while keeping the schedule. They are technical but can communicate equally well with customers, business owners, and software engineers.
This position will report directly to the VP of Product Management and will be responsible for end-to-end product design, from understanding business requirements to designing features to working with a team of developers to implement those features.
We’re looking for someone with passion and energy, and at least three years experience in a program management role at a technology company. We want to find someone with exceptional communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. We need someone who wants to take ownership of the product and help make Jobster a huge success.
Lead Product Marketing Managers will make a number of critical contributions:
Every Jobster employee is a top performer with functional area expertise, passion for technology and customers, and a drive for achieving quality.
A B.A. or B.S. degree is required, masters degree or equivalent business experience preferred. 5+ years technology product or brand management experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
